We're Chao Siam

My name is Thanarot Teerachatchawanwat, the Founder of Chao Siam brand. I started off my food venture with making sausage recipes for several months, but it did not taste authentically delicious like sausages in Thailand, due to the lack of the original ingredients that could hardly be found in Hawaii. On top of that, I had limited expertise in marketing my products, and limited startup budget. I did not succeed as I expected; nevertheless, with determination not to give up, and with the love I have for pork rinds, I tried to cook them, just for fun this time, and it only cost me $50 USD. When it was done, part of it was kept for myself, and the rest was sold in the Chinatown market. 

Unbelievably, on my way home, after dropping my pork rinds off at the grocery store for sale, I received a call from the store informing me that my pork rinds had all sold out. It gave me the confidence that my dedication and my passion started to bear fruits. I gradually began to sell more and started collecting capital. I spent my spare time cooking more pork rinds, while working full-time.

Our goal is not only to produce some high quality, tasty snacks—but we are committed to making our products better for the health of consumers. The pork rinds of Chao Siam are crispy, no added MSG, and no unpleasant smell. We pay close attention with great care to ensure that every step of production brings the best quality to every bag we put out on the market. Furthermore, our products are subjected to USDA audits to guarantee that consumers are assured that our products are clean, safe, and meet the international standards under leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, nutrition, and related issues based on public policy, the best available science, and effective management.
